Rana is currently a Ph.D. candidate in “Photovoltaics—Module and System Design and Integration” at the University of Salerno and is expected to complete the program on October 31, 2026. Her research focuses on the design, analysis, and control of energy-efficient building systems integrating tensegrity structures and photovoltaic technologies. In particular, she investigates adaptive and deployable structural solutions aimed at enhancing solar energy harvesting, improving building performance, and supporting the development of responsive and sustainable building envelopes.
Holding a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, Rana has her master’s degree in architectural technology/ digital from Tabriz Art University. Through her master’s research, she has studied tensegrity and mainly deployable tensegrity structures proposing novel systems. Personal website: https://sites.google.com/view/rananazifi/homet/ |
