After several years of private practice in different design offices and a Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Valentina is currently a PhD student in "Risk and Sustainability in Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Systems" at the University of Salerno. Engaged in topics related to seismic isolation, her research is projected toward the design, modeling and experimental validation of biomimetic seismic isolators that can mimic the mechanics of human locomotion.
